RIDGEWOOD — A 26-year-old Ridgewood man was arrested after he allegedly broke a restaurant window with a baseball bat, the Queens district attorney said. Edgar Castro, of 17-11 Gates Ave. in Ridgewood, was arraigned before Queens Criminal Court Judge Lenora Gerald on charges of criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon, Queens DA Richard Brown said. On Aug. 22, the defendant is alleged to have broken a glass window with a baseball bat at a restaurant on Seneca Avenue, the DA said. Castro also had two kitchen knives in his pocket, the DA said.

Baked goods stolen from Dunkin' Donuts: Brown

REGO PARK — A 29-year-old Rego Park man was arrested after he allegedly stole donuts and muffins from the shelves of a Dunkin’ Donuts store on Queens Boulevard, the Queens district attorney said.
